Can't use a comination blower/vacuum on a desert landscape(tiny stones that would be sucked up would destroy the impeller in vacuum mode) and 160mph is quite enough - any faster, it'd blow away the stones. Wal-mart had the same blower on sale for about the same price(plus tax), but it was rated at 150mph, not the 160mph of the one I bought from Amazon.
