KitchenAid KPCB348PNP Pro Line Chef's Blender with Polycarbonate Jar, Nickel Pearl
Product Description Designed for a commercial environment, the robust, innovative Pro Line blender takes the hassle out of blending. The Pro Line's base is incredibly stable, with a die-cast metal construction that stands up to the most intensive use while delivering exceptionally quiet operation. At the same time, the blender's powerful motor produces more than 1 horsepower (peak) and is capable of speeds as high as 21,000 rpm, helping it thoroughly blend such liquids as frozen drinks, purees, sauces, and soups in less than 20 seconds. Simply choose your blending speed--low, medium, or high--and you're set. As with the best blenders, the Pro Line automatically starts on the lowest speed to minimize spattering, then quickly steps it up to the selected speed to finish the job. And thanks to the one-piece 48-ounce polycarbonate jar--which is built for strength, durability, and water-tight performance--you needn't worry about leaky connections or cracks down the side. Other details include an extra-thick stainless-steel blade with sharpened edges and high blade angles that ensure an extreme performance, an under-base cord wrap that hides the excess cable, a scalloped inner jar collar, an intuitive CleanTouch control pad, and a 2-ounce ingredient cap. The Pro Line is also remarkably easy to maintain, with a sleek pearl metallic finish that wipes clean in seconds and a dishwasher-safe jar and lid. The blender measures 8-1/5 by 8-2/7 by 16-4/5 inches and carries a two-year replacement warranty. Product Description An innovative, top-of-the-line blender that takes the hassle out of blending. Reader Reviews My wife and I recently started using protein shakes as a breakfast meal replacement. We own a Bullet blender. To commit to our weight loss program, we've taken the Bullet blender from home to work. For awhile we carried the blender with us, but I decided we just needed a seperate blender. Our cheap $30 blender did not blend the ice very well and made our drinks a bit frothy. The professional blenders that seem to be used are the Vitamix blenders, but they come with a lofty price tag. I researched some models and found a lot of good reviews on this Kitchenaid. I love this blender!! I actually find the one piece jar a bonus. We have kids so I use the bottle cleaner on this jar and it works great. It chops ice cubes like nothing and only takes a few seconds to blend our drinks. The only negative I will say is, when using a chunky peanut butter, it doesn't quite blend down all the chunks. The Bullet blender does this better when using the small cup containers. The vortex action works quite nicely to blend small chunks. When using the Bullet blender with the regular jar container, it doesn't blend the peanut chunks any better. The quality build of this blender makes me think it might last a lifetime.
