I did a lot of research on chairs like this and no one came close to the price. I did not want to pay $150-$200 per chair for retro 50's diner style!... but I guess the old saying "you get what you pay for" applies here :)... I also didn't want to wait 4-6 weeks, which seemed the normal turn-around time for other sellers (not on Amazon). First, the negatives. These chairs are not easy to put together. The back cushion holes don't line up perfectly with the screws and the screws are JUST long enough to catch in the hole. The instructions are easy to follow, but there are no hints (and the only tip offered is in poorly translated english that makes no sense). The first chair went together fairly trouble-free, but the three that followed really gave me a hard time. Chair #2 was also missing hardware, but I was able to find 1/4" 1 1/2" screws at home depot that worked okay on the bottom. Also, there are no holes cut for where the seat cushion mounts to the frame, so you'll need a power screwdriver or drill to attach it properly. I put together 4 chairs (and two stools, which were MUCH easier to assemble) tonight and was just too frustrated to put the remaining 2 chairs together... I'm leaving that for tomorrow. The positives are that once they are together they look great. They do not feel flimsy at all, nor do they look cheap. Exactly as advertised, they are retro 50's style diner chairs and live up to the look quite nicely. A little sparkle in the upholstery would have been nice, but the finish on the blue works well (it is NOT shiney, more a matte type finish). Ultimately, I'm glad I bought them and if it cost me a little in frustration to save substantial money, I'm okay with that. I'd buy them again.
